What is menopause?

From a medical point of view, menopause lasts only one day and marks the point where 12 consecutive months have passed without menstruation. 

The preliminary stage is called premenopause and usually lasts 3 to 4 years, although it can last up to 10 years. 

After menopause, from a medical point of view, you are postmenopausal.

The most common symptoms

Hot flushes

Hot flashes (a sudden sensation of heat that spreads over the body).

Night sweats

Night sweats and / or cold sores.

Discomfort during sex

Uscăciune vaginală; disconfort în timpul sexului.

Urgent urination

Urinary urgency (a pressing need to urinate more often).
